Clickbank Direct Deposit Good For Malaysians
For any Malaysian with a Clickbank account, listen up as there is some great news. Now as a Malaysian you can use the "Direct Deposit" method to get your Clickbank money faster than before.
Previously, most Malaysians were not able to open up a Clickbank account but since April this year Clickbank has opened up to Malaysians again. So I assume most Malaysians using Clickbank would be relatively new and would be requesting to get paid via check, the only payment option available previously.
However, with Clickbank’s new direct deposit feature you can use any US bank account you have (for example with E-Trade bank) to transfer all cash automatically. No more waiting two weeks for the checks to arrive, and another few weeks for it to clear. Once the funds are in your US bank, you can transfer it to your Malaysian bank in less than one working day (E-trade) with a fee charged by the bank.
There is one catch though:
To be eligible an account must have first received three paper paychecks within any 90-day period.
This means if you do not qualify for a Clickbank check every payperiod (2 weeks), you will not see this option when you login. I realized this when I tried to change one of my smaller Clickbank accounts and was unable to do so. Minimum payout is $100.
Clearly if you’re making only a few hundreds in Clickbank, you may want to wait for the check as the fees involved will eat up your affiliate commissions, but if you’re making more than 1000 / month this option is viable.

Hi Gobala, nice post. My mailing address for ClickBank is in Malaysia, is it ok to bank in to our US based bank account for the direct deposit?
Yes, it should be possible. I will have to wait and see though is the first payment comes through.
Interesting information. Thanks.
Hi Gobala! One question about ClickBank, but not about receiving payment though. Is it a common problem for Malaysians to make payment for a purchase through ClickBank Secure Order Form? I have been encountering problems making payment for internet marketing eBooks, really frustrated! Keep getting message ‘Unable to process your payment at this time (4)’. Tried to purchase your Super Affiliate Blogger and couldn’t proceed because of that.
Not all Malaysian credit cards are accepted by Clickbank. Try using Paypal to make the actual purchase, thats what I do anyways.
Hi Mr Gobala,
Thanks for the information.
I have one question:
I just newly sign up a clickbank account with Malaysia valid address. I want to promote your product and can I receive the cehque from clickbank and bank in to my Maybank account? Since your payout is clickbank right?
Thanks and looking for your reply.
Rdgs,
Stanley
Yes you can bank into Malaysian bank account. Take note however that banks will take 3-4 weeks to clear US dollar checks or most checks in foreign currency.
Hi Gobala, I have 3 paper checks issue for my CB account but I can’t saw the Direct Deposit Button on my account area, it still show Check button only. Do we need to wait the 3 check clear only it will appear?
Hi David, it has to be 3 consecutive checks. If you payment is for that, you should have this option already, but you can also try to contact Clickbank and see what they have to say.
I got my first direct deposit payment a few days ago. Very fast, just about one working day to clear in the US bank.
Hi Gobala, I contacted Clickbank and they reply me as below:
“Thank you for your interest in electronic payment methods. In your country of residence, our only method of payment is via check, unless you meet the requirements to receive a payment via wire, as indicated below.
Our bank charges us $35 to complete a wire. This amount is subtracted from the amount we wire to you. We require that your account make $500 per pay period. Additionally, you must have received three paper checks before we can set you up for a wire.
If you are eligible and interested in a wire, then please let me know if you are interested in setting this up and I will send you the information we would need.”
This reply look like the ACH transfer is not available to my account.
“In your country of residence, our only method of payment is via check” - what they mean is that cannot transfer to Malaysian bank. But if you have a US bank account you can certainly do it.
“your account make $500 per pay period” - that explains more why my second account could not do it. But I think Clickbank didnt mention this on their site, did they?
Sorry, the problem solved today, it appear now.
The problem solve, account below $500 is available for ACH also (My Account)
Oh thats great, I should ask them about my second account also then..
It just appear today without asking, my 3rd check issue is on 31 July and few days later I saw it appear.
