This is generally speaking, bad news for most Malaysians as a high inflation rate can compound itself over the next few months and cause other side effects like increase in interest rates. If your salary does not increase by at least 8% this year, then you aren’t really getting an increase in income.

By taking a stroll in Mid Valley or One Utama in the weekends though, you may not see the effect as major shopping centers are still crowded. Perhaps less crowded than before, who keeps track anyways? I do believe that most Malaysians in Klang Valley have a high level of disposable income so this group may not be effected as mush as the lower income group in the early stages, however if the high inflation continues you’ll definitely feel the pinch.

For any Malaysian with a Clickbank account, listen up as there is some great news. Now as a Malaysian you can use the "Direct Deposit" method to get your Clickbank money faster than before.

Previously, most Malaysians were not able to open up a Clickbank account but since April this year Clickbank has opened up to Malaysians again. So I assume most Malaysians using Clickbank would be relatively new and would be requesting to get paid via check, the only payment option available previously.

However, with Clickbank’s new direct deposit feature you can use any US bank account you have (for example with E-Trade bank) to transfer all cash automatically. No more waiting two weeks for the checks to arrive, and another few weeks for it to clear. Once the funds are in your US bank, you can transfer it to your Malaysian bank in less than one working day (E-trade) with a fee charged by the bank.

There is one catch though:

To be eligible an account must have first received three paper paychecks within any 90-day period.

This means if you do not qualify for a Clickbank check every payperiod (2 weeks), you will not see this option when you login. I realized this when I tried to change one of my smaller Clickbank accounts and was unable to do so. Minimum payout is $100.

Clearly if you’re making only a few hundreds in Clickbank, you may want to wait for the check as the fees involved will eat up your affiliate commissions, but if you’re making more than 1000 / month this option is viable.

This e-book hit the market at the correct time, with the correct sales message and the correct information. It helped me achieve my first five figure income (RM11,000) in a single month which was a great achievement for a Malaysian newbie at that time, roughly 6 months after I decided to quit my job and start my own Internet business.

However, since Paypal introduced its debit card withdrawal and followed by Clickbank accepting Malaysians again, this book has become obsolete and earned it’s place in history. Personally I stopped selling this e-book in 2007 but I’m sure I can still sell a few copies now, except for the fact that it would be unethical to do so.

The reason for this post is to announce once and for all that while Chapter-M may have helped hundreds of Malaysians start their own Internet business, it has been ore than two years now since it was first written so the information contained within it is no longer relevant.

So if you see anyone selling this e-book, please note that they are not keeping up with the times. This is an official announcement from me as I realized some people are still getting Chapter-M only to realize its information is obsolete. As one of Malaysia’s most recognized author and “semi-celebrity” as Azizi calls it, I definitely wanted to learn from him. I know nothing about offline book publishing and I’m glad I got to attend this event before my book comes out.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Raja Petra Kamarudin or lovingly known as “RPK”. Raja Petra is one of the most well-know political bloggers in the Malaysian scene, along with small group of other people including Jeff Ooi whom I have met twice.

I was shocked to find out he gets 10 million +/- visitors daily to his Malaysia Today blog. This blog is tiny in comparison, although to earn a great income online you don’t really need much traffic. What you really need is a solid way to turn your traffic into income.

For beginners, doing paid posts can be a good way to get started, but ultimately you need to venture into affiliate marketing or even creating your own products.

Now Labanon has a case study called Rahsia 10k that shows you exactly how he did it. His package also contains interviews with other local Malaysian Internet marketers, who share money making tips in their area of expertise.

A lot of people are so surprised that he did all this before he can even grow a proper mustache, but hey trust me in the near future the Internet marketers will get even younger. It’s nothing to do with talent or luck, it’s all about knowing the tactics and mastering the skills.

I remember when I got my first credit card in 2002, I was already warned. “Make sure you pay the full amount monthly” my closest friends told me. That’s exactly what I did, until I started buying too much stuff, more than I can afford in a month. Soon, my credit card was maxed out.
